Two Thumbs Up! (total body workout)

You'll "like" this one!  This workout used a lot of different muscles, for a total body burn. With 4 exercises per circuit you can really get your heart rate pumping.  The focus of this workout is on LEGS, ABS, and ARMS.  You'll feel it! (thumbs up).  Have fun with those box burpees (two thumbs up), and the lunges jumps (I ran out of thumbs).

Beginners: 2 sets of 30 seconds per exercise with 30 seconds recover after each exercise.
Intermediate: 3 sets of 45 seconds per exercise with 15 seconds recover after each exercise.
Advanced: 3 sets of 1 minute per exercise with 15 seconds recover  after each exercise.... No extra rest time between sets.  Keep going with only 15 second rest intervals until you have completed all 3 sets!

Timed Body Weight Circuit w/ Bonus Arms and Abs

You'll love this!

We did a 'fun' workout yesterday that has been one to remember days after (if you know what I mean).  The main event of this workout is the timed body weight circuit, but if you have access to gym equipment and want to add the bonus ABS and ARMS, then do the additional weights before you jump in to the timed part.

Arms:
10-15 Push-up with a crunch on the stability ball
10 /arm Bicep 90 degree hold with bicep curl
10-15 front raises with a twist (we used a plate)

Abs:
20 BOSU in and outs with weight (we used an 8 lbs. medicine ball)
20 Jackknives
20 Stability Ball leg raises

Timed Body Weight Circuit:
Complete 2 rounds of each set with no rest in between.  Then take a short 30 second-1 minute break before moving on to the next set of 2 exercises. Repeat all over again if you are game.

30 sec Burpees
60 sec Plank

30 sec High knees
60 sec Reverse lunges

30 sec Mountain climbers
60 sec Reverse Crunches

30 sec Squat jumps
60 sec Wall sit

30 sec Triceps dip
60 sec Speed skaters

Tribute to Pebble

For the remainder of this week, my (amazing and extremely handsome) husband will be staying on the beautiful Pebble Beach Golf Course in Carmel, California.  He is lucky and blessed to have a (also amazing) Grandma with a home at this location.  Visiting Pebble Beach each year of his life has been one of his most favorite things and includes some of his most cherished memories.  Sadly, this is his last and final trip, as his grandma is selling her home (trying to hold back tears).

In this post I wanted to share some of the beauties of Pebble (refer to the pictures at the end of this post) and also give My Man a workout to include this week while he is vacationing and without access to a gym.

I have been blessed to be able to visit many times and have loved running along the famous 17 mile drive and getting my workouts in with this amazing view.
